United Way of Fresno County Chooses e-CImpact

PRESS RELEASE: Fresno, CA - United Way of Fresno County (UWFC)'s mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities to make long-lasting change and impact community conditions.

Since 1923, UWFC has been at the heart of a great and caring community. In the fertile, sun-drenched Great Central Valley between the Sierras and the Pacific Ocean, Fresno County has the largest agriculture economy of any county in the nation. But intertwined with its rich abundance and rich heritage of cultures from around the world, Fresno County also has one of the highest poverty and unemployment levels in the nation.

In order to address the underlying causes of these most pressing community issues and to create lasting change, UWFC has adopted a Community Impact agenda that aligns to the United Way of America’s Goals for the Common Good under Education, Income and Health.
