A Fond Farewell after 20 Years of Partnership

PRESS RELEASE: Roanoke, VA – For the past two decades Seabrooks has had the pleasure of working with one of United Way’s tireless leaders, Frank Rogan.

The relationship started when Rogan served as the Senior VP of Resource Development at Valley of the Sun United Way in Phoenix, AZ. Patti Brooks, Seabrooks Founder and President, was contracted to develop a Campaign Management Reporting system and CEO Call Booklet.

“Frank’s goal was to make tools available to United Way staff that would enable them to spend less time in the office and more time out in the field, building relationships. He had the desire to increase the efficiency of the internal processes and to pursue opportunities to create greater impact in the community” states Patti Brooks, “In many ways, this principle still inspires the work Seabrooks does today with more than 75 United Ways across the country.”

When Frank’s career path took him to United Way of Roanoke Valley, he instantly went to work reshaping their processes. After an extensive due diligence process which involved contacting many colleagues to compare their experiences with systems and the people that work with them, United Way of Roanoke Valley selected Seabrooks and e-CImpact as their technology solutions provider to support its community impact work in 2010.

Based on feedback gained from their research, Seabrooks edged out the competition in affordability, data management capabilities, ability to interface with software, user-friendliness for its key users, and ability to support current processes and grow with the organization’s future needs.
