Coming Together to Learn: 2015 e-CImpact User Conference in Morrisville, NC

May 11, 2015

PRESS RELEASE: Morrisville, NC – Last week over 30 e-CImpact™ users representing 27 different organizations from around the country attended the e-CImpact™ User Conference at Greater Triangle United Way.

The conference is an opportunity for new and experienced users to learn more about e-CImpact™, share ideas, network, and discuss the changing landscape of community investment, grant management and community impact. Discussion topics included best practices for developing and tracking community outcomes, using data to tell your story, and shifting to community impact.

This year’s conference also featured ‘Learning Pods’ to encourage peer learning and networking opportunities. Members shared their experience, exchanged ideas related to utilizing e-CImpact™, and expanded their skills to get the most out of their system.

Attendees of the conference were treated to several extracurricular activities provided by the friendly staff members at Greater Triangle United Way, including outings to nearby Durham and Raleigh to learn firsthand about the historical significance of the area and have fun!

“I thought the pods were great and the evening events added so much fun to the week. I had a wonderful time and I was so happy to meet everyone at Seabrooks and to meet other United Way folks. I picked up a lot of ideas for our United Way and I can’t wait to put them into motion” said one conference attendee.

A sincere thank you goes out to the staff and faculty at Greater Triangle United Way for their warm hospitality and generosity. We also want to thank everyone who attended, presented, participated and helped make the 2015 e-CImpact User Conference a huge success!
