PRESS RELEASE: Grand Junction, Colorado – United Way of Mesa County (UWMC) is a typical small United Way.
Five dedicated and passionate employees show up to work each day prepared to play many roles – Community Leader, Partnership Builder, Relationship Manager, Fundraiser, Evaluator, and IT Staff. Whatever the organization and larger community needs.
“UWMC’s mission is to meet human service needs through excellent stewardship of resources. We’re always looking for ways to reduce our administrative time and focus more on making a positive impact on our community,” stated Julie Hinkson, UWMC Executive Director.
In early 2015, UWMC started looking at software to help manage their Community Impact work. They turned to other United Ways for assistance and eventually discovered e-CImpact™, a comprehensive and flexible cloud-based system trusted by more than 90 United Ways throughout the U.S. and Canada.
“After we looked at e-CImpact™, there was no question in my mind that it was the system for us. As a Donation Tracker customer we qualified for their Fundamental Plan, which includes extra administrative support by Seabrooks. It was exactly what we needed!” stated Abby Landmeier, Community Funding & Volunteers Manager.
Within 30 days UWMC’s grant application was developed and released by Seabrooks in their new e-CImpact™ system, giving them more time to focus on the other important roles they play.
