Seabrooks is honored to co-present with Orange County United Way at this year’s Western Regional Conference, July 18 – 21 in Las Vegas.
In 2014, Orange County United Way (OCUW) embarked on a 10-year journey to make a bigger impact on their community by adopting FACE 2024. The plan works to address the most critical challenges facing Orange County children and families by identifying long-term, collaborative solutions that can be implemented community-wide to improve quality of life, including access to quality education, sustainable income, better health, and stable housing.
Realizing OCUW could not do it alone, the organization had to engage community partners and other stakeholders in new and innovative ways. Changing their funding model was an important element of that work.
The “Designing an Impact Culture” presentation will highlight OCUW’s experience evolving from a fundraising entity to a Community Impact organization, including their growing pains and insights as they shift the culture inside the organization and with community partners. In addition to supporting a new way of grant-making, OCUW has used e-CImpact to capture outcome data and information for the sake of process-improvement, quality assurance, and ultimately, to achieve their community goals in a meaningful way.
